Cher Irvin, Chère Christine
Au nom du bureau de la FTM CGT, au nom du Philippe Martinez, secrétaire général, en mon nom je vous adresse nos plus sincères condoléances. Nelson Mandela n’est pas seulement celui qui a conduit le peuple sud-africain vers la liberté. Il restera dans nos mémoires comme un Homme qui n’a jamais cessé de se battre pour la liberté , la justice, la démocratie pour l’égalité des droits de tous les êtres humains.
Peu d’Homme voient leur nom gravé dans l’histoire de l’humanité. Madiba le restera. Vous pouvez être fiers d’avoir eu un tel Homme dans votre histoire. Il peut reposer en paix après tout ce qu’il a fait pour son peuple. Il était et il est encore un exemple pour nous tous. Il n’a jamais perdu espoir, il s’est battu encore et encore. Nos sommes tristes et nous sommes proches de vous en ce moment. S’il vous plait , faites part de notre profonde solidarité à tous vos membres et à tout le peuple sud-africain.

On behalf of the board of CGT Metalworkers, on behalf of Philippe Martinez, general secretary, on my name we express our deepest condolences. Nelson Mandela was not only the one who led the south African people to freedom. He will stay in our mind as a Men who never stopped his struggle for freedom, for justice, for democracy, for equal rights for all human beings.
Very few people have their name engraved in the history of humanity. Madiba will. You can be very proud to have such a Men in your own history. He may rest in peace after all what he did for his people. He was and he is an example for all of us. He never lose hope, fighting and fighting again. We are sad, we are close to you at this time. Please express our full solidarity to your members and to all the south African people.
